Candace joined the team in August 2025 bringing more than 40 years of both office and investments experience.
She began her career at the Paine Webber Jackson and Curtis office downtown Ann Arbor in the late 70’s. After about a year there, the Office Manager started his own company, Beacon Investment Company and she worked there until 1991. She, her son, Eric, and her son’s father moved to Phoenix, and she worked at another investment firm, Young, Smith & Peacock until moving back home in 1993. She veered a bit off course to become a paralegal at McCoy and McDaniel, PC but after almost 4 years, applied for a job “at a small investment firm, downtown Ann Arbor”. It was Vintage Financial Services, LLC and she became a permanent fixture for 27 years. After retiring in 2023, she became restless and began looking for part-time employment; she found it at A New Path Financial.
Candace has two sons, Eric and Tony and raised them in Ann Arbor. Her oldest, Eric, married Sarah Preston in Mexico. They have a son, Carter who is Candace’s heart. She has a Yorkie-Poo-Shih Tzu, Milo, who is 12 years’ old and currently lives in Ypsilanti with her younger brother, Eric.
In her spare time, she watches Tigers baseball, Wolverine Football, Lions’ football. She likes to cook new dishes and dabbles in her flower garden.
