Receive an unbiased look at the legal, emotional, and financial aspects of divorce in a workshop-style conversation
Do you have questions about divorce? Are you contemplating, or maybe your partner has filed, and you’re not sure where to start? At Second Saturday, you’ll receive an unbiased look at the legal, emotional, and financial aspects of divorce in a workshop style conversation. All questions are welcome and personal stories and names are kept confidential. Our goal is to empower you to make the best decision for yourself and your family, which may not be divorce! This workshop is offered “Every 2nd Tuesday” of the month ONLINE via ZOOM. You’ll hear from divorce professionals in your area, meet others faced with a similar choice, where your questions are answered, so that you may feel more confident and empowered with decisions you may face during this life transition. Key Take-Aways During the workshop, you will learn:
• Legal issues surrounding divorce and more from a local divorce lawyer
• Personal Growth, Thought Shaping and Future Self techniques from a local certified relational advocate and professional coach.
• How to navigate the financial realities of divorce, sources of income, marital vs. separate property, retirement plans, and what to do with the family home from a local Financial Advisor.
All of our presenters are local in order to provide you with state-specific information and recommendations, and to begin building your network of divorce professionals, should you choose to continue the process. (*Second Saturday was created by the non-profit Women’s Institute for Financial Education (WIFE.org), the nation’s longest-running non-profit devoted to female financial literacy.)
